RATIONAL ACOUSTICS RTA-420 WITH CALIBRATION FILES
The RTA420 with Calibration Files is individually measured and serialized, and includes a thumb drive containing frequency response correction files (mic correction) and a microphone report with the microphone's sensitivity. For those prone to losing jump drives, the correction files for each mic can be retrieved online via serial number in the RTA-420 Microphone Correction Curve Database.
The Rational Acoustics branded RTA-420 is a 1/4 inch back electret condenser microphone ideal for measurement systems on a budget. Whether you're a student or just starting out in the business, or an established pro looking for a backup mic for your kit, putting together a "B" rig or you want to be able to put up multiple mic's in large venues without taking out a second mortgage, the RTA-420 offers very respectable frequency response and solid, road-worthy construction at an exceptionally affordable price.
NOTE: The Rational RTA-420 is PIN 3 HOT and requires the 10mm calibrator adapter for use with the iSEMcon SC-1 Microphone calibrator.
